A little dream is a documentary about India’s eleventh president, Bharatrathna and scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam, popularly known as Missile man of India, remained president of the largest democracy in the world between 2002 and 2007.

A scientist turned reluctant politician, Abdul Kalam was born and raised in Rameshwaram, Tamilnadu. He studied physics and aerospace engineering and spent nearly four decades in DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). It was in ISRO that Dr. Kalam got involved in India’s civil space program and military missile developments. His work on Ballistic Missile gave him the popular name Missile Man of India.

Kalam joined the Rashtrapati Bhawan in 2002 during Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reign. The opening of Rahstrapati Bhawan. Re-establishment of world’s first Nalanda University and India’s 2020 vision are just a few of the many major works were done by Dr. Kalam during his five year tenure in the office. He was recipient of several prestigious awards including Bharatratna, India’s highest civilian honour.
